Enter into a LINUX system whose password is unknown

Is there is someone who forgot his/her system password ?

Now need not to be panic, I have a solution (works on all distros and any version of LINUX Kernel). Just follow onscreen instruction:

  1. Power on your system and enter into "grub" boot menu.
  2. On grub menu enter "e" while highlighting the default boot menu.

A little fun with "/etc/inittab"

In this section I am gonna to play with "/etc/inittab" file, which manages booting of LINUX system ( remember this will work with all LINUX distros.).

  1. Start your system and enter into "grub" boot menu.

  2. On grub menu enter "e" while highlighting the default boot menu.

Installing Red Hat Linux using Graphical User Interface (GUI)

Installing any LINUX system is as easy as installing Window's system, you can install Linux system using following instruction.

You need to make a LINUX copy boot able:

  1. To get a RHEL 6 copy click here. An .iso copy will start downloading, save that file and follow 2nd step.
  2. To make that .iso file boot able, download and run YUMI ( a freeware software to make boot able disk). Onscreen instruction will be provided to use YUMI on that link.

After booting from USB/ CD follow following instruction.

  • Select Install or upgrade an existing system option on Grub Menu.
